Board Settings in Zymmr
Overview
Board Settings allow you to customize and configure the Active Sprint Board to fit your project management needs. This includes setting up columns, filters, and swimlanes to organize work items effectively.
Accessing Board Settings
- Navigate to Board Settings:
Go to the Active Sprint Board. - Click the settings icon on the right (represented by

) to access the Board Settings.
Configuring Board Settings
Board Title
Set or change the title of the board to reflect its purpose or scope.
Filter Options
- Projects or Work Items: Choose which projects or work items are visible on the board. This helps in focusing on specific projects or work items.
Board Columns
- Select Columns: Choose the columns that will appear on the board. Default columns include Open, In Progress, and Done, but you can customize these to match your workflow.
- Column Statuses: Define which statuses fall under each column. This helps in visualizing the progress of work items.
Swimlanes
- Assign Swimlanes: Configure swimlanes to categorize work items based on attributes such as:
- Assigned To: Group work items by the team member responsible.
- Project: Organize work items by project.
- Priority: Arrange work items based on their priority level.
- Work Item Type: Sort work items by their type (e.g., bug, feature, task).
Saving and Applying Settings

Save Changes:
After making the desired configurations, click the Save button to apply the changes to the Active Sprint Board. -
Review Updates:
Review the board to ensure that it reflects the updated settings and meets your project management needs.

Limitation
