Deleting a Work Item in Zymmr

Steps to Delete a Work Item​

1. Access the Work Item​

  • Navigate to either the Backlog or the Work Items page.
  • Choose the work item you want to delete.

2. Open Work Item Details​

  • Click on the key of the work item to open the detailed work item page.

3. Initiate Deletion​

  1. On the work item detail page, click on the three dots (more options).
  2. Select the Delete option from the dropdown menu.

4. Confirm Deletion​

  1. A confirmation dialog will appear: "Are you sure you want to permanently delete [work item]?"
  2. Confirm the deletion.

5. Relationship Check​

  • If the work item has relationships with other items, the system will throw an error and will not delete the item.

This process ensures that you can safely delete work items that are not dependent on other items, maintaining the integrity of your project data.
