Work Items
In Zymmr, we refer to tasks as "work items," but they aren't just tasks; they're a dynamic system designed to distinguish and categorize different types of work uniquely.
Whether you're dealing with bugs that need immediate attention or managing large-scale initiatives, our diverse work item types ensure you have the right tools for the job.
Default Issue Types
Here's a list of the default work item types that come with each Zymmer project:
Epic
An Epic is like a big story for your project that's too large to handle all at once. It's made up of bugs, stories, and tasks, showing how things are progressing with a major project. In agile development, epics usually stand for something big, like a cool new feature or experience in the software your team is building.
Bug
A bug is a problem that messes up or stops a product from working properly.
Story
A user story is the smallest piece of work that needs to get done.
Task
A task is a job that needs to be finished.
Subtask
A subtask is a small piece of work needed to finish a task. Subtasks can break down any regular jobs in Zymmr, like bugs, stories, or tasks.
Each project in Zymmer comes with default work item types carefully crafted to meet the diverse needs of your projects and teams. Yet, we understand that one size doesn't fit all. That's why Zymmr allows you to tailor your work item types to align seamlessly with your preferred project management process.
